It suits travelers who move often and would rather pay one flat price than count gigabytes.
The subscription advertises unlimited data and hotspot use, both subject to fair use. Its terms exclude domestic use (for EU-based customers, the whole EU) and cap continuous roaming in one destination at 90 days. SMS on the subscription runs through a virtual number, so keep your home SIM in the phone for bank one-time codes.
Renewal is tied to the purchase date in the subscription terms, so buy close to departure; cancelling renewal stops future charges, and the current period is not refunded automatically. One-off eSIMs no longer offer traditional top-ups: extra days need a new plan and a new eSIM profile. Travelers who only need a few GB are better served by a fixed-data package.
